Solutions, Inc. in Hudson, MA announces that it
has completed the visual system upgrade for the
Lockheed Martin Company Helicopter Demo Center in
Crystal City, VA. The upgrade replaces their existing
direct view flat panels with a high-fidelity projector
visual system and curved screen.
Display Solutions delivered and installed a 3-Channel
visual display system with 150 degrees HFOV and
45 degrees VFOV. The Helicopter Demo Center upgrade
was accomplished with little or no modification
to the existing office space. Display Solutions
provided a system comprised of Projection Design
F2 video projectors, a Hurley cylindrical screen
and video pre-processors manufactured by 3-d Perception.
Video pre-processors are used to optimize geometry
correction, image edge matching, color matching
and “hot-spot” reduction. The visual system
is driven by Diamond Visionics image generators.
